Our Mission

GBWC's mission is to enhance habitat for all wildlife species in the State of Nevada, support biological, science-based wildlife management policies, and counteract efforts by groups that threaten to undermine the proven model of wildlife management.

How We Advocate

GBWC will advocate for Nevada's wildlife through educational efforts, fundraising activities, and supporting elected and appointed officials — including gubernatorial, legislative, and wildlife commission candidates — who champion policies focused on responsible science-based wildlife management.

Educate

Inform Nevadans about science-based wildlife management and the North American Model of Conservation.

Fundraise

Funds will support like-minded candidates for gubernatorial and legislative offices who champion responsible, trusted, science-based wildlife management and habitat conservation policies.

Support Leaders

Provide educational resources and information to the Governor, state legislators, and Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners to support responsible, trusted, science-based wildlife and habitat policies.

Advance Policy

Advocate for legislation rooted in sound science, habitat conservation, and long-term stewardship.

We are Nevadans dedicated to the responsible stewardship of wildlife and its habitats. We are also sportsmen and sportswomen dedicated to wildlife conservation for the benefit of all Nevadans.

Conservation is at the heart of our mission, with the goal of building a legacy of stewardship for the land and fostering a deep appreciation for nature.
